Alien: Romulus keeps the fun alive
(August 16) I went to see Alien: Romulus in the theatre this past weekend and it is a very fun ride. Hits all the right beats and manages to tie in a lot of the other movies without hitting you over the head. Highly recommended for any Alien fan or even if you're just looking for a solid 2-hours of sci-fi fun.
But it all made me think about the timeline of Alien movies and stories...which made me think about Alien: Harvest and where it lies. Of course, it's not complicated. Alien: Harvest takes place after Aliens since it's about Burke's son, so I figure that might make it somewhere in the 2180s. I'll say Burke's son was teenager when he died so give him a few years to grow older and angrier and boom, another race to stop The Company.
Although...I have yet to read the "What if" for Aliens that suggests Burke lived and had ulterior motives than what the movie touched on...but maybe that can be another game.
Anyway, thanks to everyone that has played Alien: Harvest and to those that will. Enjoy running around one of our favorite sci-fi franchises. And go see Romulus in the theatre before it leaves!
